makes your site unique from others sites offering similar
information for free?
When
the creators of this site went looking for home-based businesses
on the search engines, over 11,000,000 choices came up. And
so the clicking began. We clicked on site after site after
site just to find books, CD’s, sites with anywhere from
20 or less businesses offered, tutorial sites, and on and
on and on. You can click to infinity and get absolutely nowhere.
After days and weeks of doing this, we decided there needed
to be one site that listed many opportunities so that people
who didn’t have the time to continually click on unwanted
sites could go and find exactly what they were looking for.
Then we took it a step further and added our how to section,
our library, and our resources page. (See our benefits section
for complete details on these helpful pages.) The minimal
fee we charge is for an annual membership. You will find when
you go searching that most of the business/job opportunities
information is on a one-time basis printed in a booklet, downloaded
on a CD, or in an e-zine. The problem with this information
is you have NO idea when this was originally done and when
you go to pursue the purchased information (ranging from $29.99
to $99.99), most of the businesses are either out-of-business
or no longer accepting new people. At moneyformommies, you
become a member and can then visit the site over and over
to look at “new” listings posted, communicate
with other moms on our listserv and chat rooms, generally
just have a resource for beginning a new career at home.
There is truly no other site on the internet like ours, we
are completely unique!

I’m not a mom, can
this site benefit me?
You
bet it can! The passion behind the conception of this website
was to help and assist moms with choices. Choices of whether
they can stay home, raise their children, and still earn an
income. However, the businesses listed on this site can work
for anyone especially dads, women without children, students,
and seniors. This site is for anyone looking to earn money
from home as a full time job or as a source of secondary income.

We
provide you with a continually updated database where you
can perform specific searches on hundreds of companies offering
work at home opportunities. The types of businesses listed

sales, freelance writing, medical transcription, vending machines,
etc.

Do
I need previous experience on the businesses listed in order
to succeed?
Some
companies do not require you to have any experience. We’ve
listed reliable contacts to assist and train you to succeed.
In these cases the company you choose would provide training.
Other companies will require you to have certain experience
for the job position you are applying for. In some cases,
you may even need certain equipment i.e. computer, software,
fax machine, etc. It really depends on the type of business
and the company you choose to work with.

do I know the companies listed are legitimate?
Much
of our time has been spent contacting these companies via
phone, e-mail, etc. and legitimizing their backgrounds, current
financial status, and longevity in the financial world. Of
course, from day to day things can and will change, so we
can not guarantee the financial stability of all the companies
listed, however, we can tell you that at the time they were
listed they were solid and reliable resources. Since we are
unable to keep up with the current financial status of each
and every company, we count on our members to give us input.
If you are not satisfied with a contact or company, we request
that you let us know so we may act quickly to investigate
your complaint and remove an unsatisfactory company.

Can
I work for more than one company at a time?
Most
companies don't mind if you work for another company at the
same time you are signed up with them. In some cases, like
a franchise for instance, you own the company and make the
rules. However, if you choose another type of company, it
may be helpful for you to present this issue to the contact
when you are inquiring about the business. We think it might
be an issue depending upon whether or not there is a conflict
of interest in the marketing of similar products. This is
something you should bring up before signing up with several
companies at one time.

I have to pay any start up fees to work for any companies
listed on your site?
Yes
and no. There are positions like craft assembly, data entry,
etc. that will require an upfront fee just to insure that
you are serious about the job, however, upon your production
of the products, these fees will be reimbursed. You can call
or e-mail the company to find out all the details or just
visit their websites. Some of them list all the information
on-line for your convenience. Some positions require that
you already have the proper equipment to perform the job,
such as a computer, typewriter, fax machine, software, etc.
Many times the company that you work for will supply you with,
or reimburse you for any needed hardware or software. This
is something that is personally discussed between you and
the company that you will be working for. For choices including
distributorships or franchises the upfront fees to own your
own company can range from as little as $40 to $40,000 and
up depending on which business you choose.

a-z job bank and search on the entire database, any listing
that has been put up in the last 30 days will have the word
“new”
next to it.

do I know you're not a scam?
The
one commonality that scams have is that they ask for your
money without any means of contacting them. Pay on-line or
send them a check, either way, there’s no way of talking
with someone once you’ve paid and are unhappy with the
result of product. The reason this company was started is
